The concept of the family house is based on a dialogue between the old rural and Czech contemporary architecture. This dialogue is reflected in the material use and the volume arrangement. Particularly, the traditional is represented by the white facade with a south-oriented gable and the wooden facade, perpendicular to the white one, represents the new. This orientation is also more beneficial due to the heat gain from the sun.

The family house is located near the town of Chrastiny on a hill next to a forest and a horse farm with pasture land all around the plot. The plot holds, next to the house, a garage for two cars and a pergola with an outside kitchen, a toilet, and garden storage.
