I was appointed by Bayer Material Science, currently, Covestro, to work up a design of a bus stop that would represent both the company and its products.
Used software: Rhino 3D, Grasshopper, V-Ray, Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign

The task was to create a conceptual design of a bus stop that is linked to the metro station Stodůlky in Prague. The design approach was based on a necessity to adapt to specific local conditions and a creating cohesive architectural language that describes both the character of Bayer Material Science and the bus stop itself.

The design evolved from concepts of ecology, sustainability, interactivity, and colors of Bayer. Leaves became the main inspiration as a symbol of ecology, sustainability, and nature, which is reflected in the spatial and material conception of the whole unit. This interplay between nature and architecture is visible from the areal view or from West on the composition of rooftops, where the contours are reminiscent of an emerging flower or leaf bud.

The proposed bus stop complements the imaginary axis composed of various objects (metro exits, greenery, statue, small firehouse, …) on the square between residential and office buildings and with its spatial and material conception highlights the diversity of the buildings on this axis.
